My hubby

Female scrapbookers have tendency (unfortunately) to scrapbook their siblings, kids, and friends (including those furry once), but spouses are usually just standing in the background-watching. They are not the once getting all the fame for being cute, lovable, cuddly, pretty, and adorable. Our husbands almost never make it to be THE MAIN topic of the page...this is so very true for me, since I usually scrapbook my side of the family and cousins, my step kids, my dog Brooklyn, and myself. So....to be fair to my hubby and not leave him out, I made this LO. This is one of my favorite pictures of him so this is for you Baby!

Dreamer...

I absolutely love shopping but I always look for great deals and sales. I have recently came across few dollar stores and discount chains (like Big Lots) who carry amazing selection of scrapbooking materials. Now, the selections are always limited and you not always going to get exactly what you're looking for. But for me, it's kinda like shopping for clothes...I never go shopping to find one particular thing because I'll never find it. I go shopping to find deals and if I find one, I get it regardless if I REALLY need it. The finds always find their right purpose later on.
I created this latest LO with some great treasures I found in a Dollar Tree store...the chipboard flowers were really great to embellish this LO of Paige (my stepdaughter). I absolutely love this picture of her because she really looks so dreamy.

My first publication in online magazine - very excited!

Thanksgiving

This was the first big Thanksgiving that me and Stacy decided to host at our house. We had a blast and we went over the top...We had 4 families together celebrating this year: Stanley's (Monica and Eric Stanley with their 3 kids), Baughman's (myself, Stacy,Paige, William and Diane), Glinski's (Magdalena, Philip, and my aunt Basia) and Papik's (Baxter - Magda's fiance and his parents Twila and Al from Nebraska). We also had Michelle (Phil's girl friend) Christopher Jackson, and Maria (Stanley's family friend).
So here is how it went: everybody brought something since I did not want to cook for 20 people...and we end up with WAY too much food cause I cooked for about 15. We had 3 turkeys (mine was 23 lbs), 3 different stuffing's, 2 different gravy's, green been casserole, corn (I cooked 10 cans) potatoes, yams, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, coconut cake...and of course wine.

It was so much fun just having everyone together and being thankful for having...family!

First Note

I am very new at blogging...but this is something that I always wanted to try (you just have to stay up with the technology, you know :)) I see all my scrapbooking firend doing this so I figured that I'm gonna give it a try.
Note to self: Don't be scared, eventully you get better at it!
