Sentimental
I love my Family...they mean more to me than words can express. It is difficult to stay connected with my extended family back home since I have not visited Poland in 10 years. Our lives here in US are so busy that its really hard to take 3 weeks off from work and just go. That means using all the vacation in one shot and not being able to take any more time off for the rest of the year. I feel guilty sometimes that I do not keep in touch with my family and friends back home as much as I used to, but my memories do not match reality anymore. The country and people that I remember no longer exist. Places changed, people changed and I definitely changed. I'm expecting that everything will stay still and remain just the way I left it. But that's not the reality.
My family that resides in US is my biggest inspiration for scrapbooking. I love documenting precious moments, many laughs and crazy situations that we experience together. This next LO is the best example. My cousin Phil and his friends were hiking Camelback mountain in Phoenix, AZ one day and goofing off. As soon as I saw the photo I knew that I will have to jump on it and document it. Phil and his crew are young, crazy and so unpredictable - I love it! YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHAT THEY WILL COME UP WITH...PHIL IS THE CRAZIEST SOUL IN OUR FAMILY FOR SURE.

Vintage 1920's
I love 1920's fashion because its very romantic, very vintage and very me (I think). I love the feathers, the hats, the dresses...ahhh! I could wear this stuff all the time if I could, although I'm sure that eventually I would miss my jeans :)
When my cousin Magdalena Graduated from ASU College we were looking for a theme for her graduation party. We almost immediately thought that 1920's theme would be a blast. And it was! Everyone came in costumes (even gentlemen dress up with a little help from their ladies) and everyone looked amazing! I thought how appropriate it would be to use the new Prima and Graphic 45 for this LO. Their latest product are awesome and very vintage. Here is the first of probably many LOs.

Here are some more LOs from my Create Memories all day Scrapbooking mania at the Phoenix Convention Center. I must say that it was a very producting day. I am definately looking forward to scrapbooking weekend up in the Prescott valley this summer :) Just imagine how much I can get done in 3 days!

Daddy's Lit'l Girl
My sister-in-law Monica has three beautiful children -Paityn is the oldest at 8 years old and three years old twins Ryan and Taylor. Since I don't have children on my own (although I'm a stepmother to 17 years old Paige) I love scrapbooking my SIL's kids. There are great inspiration for LOs and obviously very cute and adorable. These LOs are the once that I thought I'll share. I used most of my Basic Grey, Prima and 7 Gypsies supplies that I've been wanting to use for a while now. For some reason Basic Grey always intimidated me – the bright colors and a lot of pattern papers was too much. I guess I'm not sure how to incorporate some of the patterns sometimes and I'll sit and stare at the page for hours and them...I'm over it and don't want to do the LO anymore. Silly, uhg? This time I went to a scrapbooking even in the Phoenix Convention Center and since I was limited to how much stuff I can bring, I only brought BG and very few other items. I worked! It's almost like I forced myself into a corner and had to do it. I need more of that I guess. LOL, At the end I'm very happy with a final result. Thanks for looking!

Something Blue When You Say I Do
My cousin Magdalena was married last year to her longtime boyfriend Baxter. The ceremony was absolutely spectacular – it took place on the massive private yacht in the San Diego Harbor, the weather was perfect and everything went very smooth during the post wedding. It was marvelous event, but even more fabulous was the bride. My cousin prepared every detail of this event to the T. It took us a full year for 4 girls to prepare for this massive production even though his was already 4th wedding in the family for our 4-girl team. My cousin did not miss any details - the dress was custom altered by her mother and the shoes Magda customize herself – painted them on the bottom and used some Swarovski crystals to spell out “I DO”. So…there was absolutely no way I was going to pass the opportunity and make a LO using the photos of her shoes. Her bridal suite in her San Diego hotel had also this massive 20 feet long blue couch that was a great backdrop for the remaining photos. Hope you enjoy the LO as much as I did putting it together.

Motherhood
My cousin Joanna had her baby Mason in April of last year and what a joy it has been for all of us. He is such a beautiful and happy baby ! I love taking pictures of him and he is a great inspiration for scrapbooking. Joanna LOVES blue and brown combination - her bedroom is blue (more like teal) and brown, Mason's room is blue and brown with a puppy theme and she loves wearing blue and brown too. So...when I came across Anna Griffin "Flora" collection and embossed foil alphabet from "Carolina" collection I just had to have it and use it for LO of her and Mason.
Here is final result...I love it. TFL :)
